In the heart of the Banks of the Seine Left Bank, the site is made up of a stretch of water of about 560 m² (40m x 14m ; with no adjoining quayside area) located between the bridge ‘pont Alexandre III’ and the bridge "pont des Invalides".
Located on the left bank, this stretch of water is included in the development plan for the Seine banks which have been reserved for pedestrians and open to the public since 2012, close to the bridge ‘pont Alexandre III’. It enjoys important visibility and attracts more than 2 million and a half people per year (tourists, joggers, walkers, families…). Between the Grand Palais and ‘Les Invalides’, activity will be able to take place near major historic monuments. The issue is to find a market position and a form of entertainment that complements the existing offer and is innovative but consistent with heritage requirements and compulsorily including a navigation service on the Seine.
